WELCOME
Mrs. Lovett’s Bakehouse is a very small, very serious bakehouse in Rye, New Hampshire, run entirely by one human with a mixer, a mission, and questionable sleep habits.
Everything here is made from scratch, by hand, with real food. That means real butter (all of it), real flour, real sugar, and absolutely no shortcuts, preservatives, or “butter-adjacent bs.” If it didn’t exist 100 years ago, it probably isn't going to make it into the dough.
This is not a factory. This is not efficient. This is not calm.
It’s just me—measuring, mixing, laminating, proofing, and occasionally staring into the oven like it owes me money. Each pastry is shaped by hand, baked in small batches, and sent out into the world with the quiet hope that it brings you joy… or at least makes your day significantly better.
Mrs. Lovett’s Bakehouse believes baked goods should be:
-
Rich, unapologetic, and butter-forward
-
A little rustic, a little dramatic
-
Made with care, patience, and a mild sense of doom

If you’re looking for perfectly uniform pastries pumped full of mystery ingredients, you’re in the wrong place. If you want something handmade, indulgent, and just slightly unhinged—welcome. You’re among friends.
No people were harmed in the making of these pastries.
(Probably.)
